Our sixth workshop - a large and roaring enthusiastic session!

Embarking on our latest journey, GirlsGrow recently had the pleasure of conducting a captivating workshop at Mount Carmel School, Dwarka, New Delhi. This endeavor allowed us to connect with a group of bright young minds, and as we delved into the session, the enthusiasm and curiosity of the students left an indelible mark on our hearts. From the moment we stepped into the vibrant school premises, we were greeted with an eagerness that mirrored our own passion for empowering young girls in the realm of technology. The Mount Carmel workshop was a unique experience that unfolded layers of insight and inspiration for both the participants and our GirlsGrow team.

What set this workshop apart was the impressive knowledge base the students brought to the table. Surprisingly well-versed in Python language, some had even dabbled in app development and engaged in block-based coding. It was invigorating to witness their existing proficiency and a testament to the school's commitment to nurturing technological skills from an early stage.

One striking aspect was the students' familiarity with Artificial Intelligence, hinting at the evolving landscape of education, where cutting-edge technologies are seamlessly integrated into the curriculum.

During the interactive sessions, a thoughtful question emerged from one of the students, highlighting a concern that often lingers in the minds of those contemplating a career in technology. "Are you scared of becoming a senior engineer where a new, sharper junior with updated skills replaces you?" This inquiry opened a door to a valuable discussion about the dynamic nature of the tech industry, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and adaptability. The students' awareness of job security and industry layoffs was another noteworthy revelation. Their candid discussions allowed us to address their apprehensions and shed light on the ever-evolving landscape of the tech sector. We emphasized the significance of staying updated, acquiring versatile skills, and how GirlsGrow is here to guide and support them in navigating the challenges that may arise in their future careers.

The positive encounters echoed the impact we were making. Numerous students approached us, expressing their genuine appreciation for the workshop and the insights gained.
